Description
This book informs young children about bison. Bison are large farm animals who are raised for food. They have thick hair, humps on their backs, and horns on their heads. They cannot see very well and use their senses of smell and hearing instead. Bison can run very fast and like to be in a herd of many bison. Their babies are born in the spring or summer and are called calves. A calf reaches its maximum growth after eight years.
